Turks and Caicos Islands Creole is an English creole spoken in the Turks and Caicos Islands. (The Turks and Caicos are in the Caribbean southwest of the Bahamas.)
   Turks and Caicos Islands Creole is similar to other Caribbean English creoles. It is almost identical to Bahamian Creole. The languages drawn on African grammar while using a largely English vocabulary. The number of speakers of Turks and Caicos Islands Creole is less than 100,000. Turks and Caicos Islands Creole doesn't have the status of an official language.
